Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the LeanFlow website (leanflowhq.com) and the LeanFlow application (app.leanflowhq.com), both operated by LeanFlow HQ ("LeanFlow," "we," "us"). By using either service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The Service

LeanFlow is a web-based tool that helps organizations create, manage, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The service includes document upload and AI-powered parsing, an SOP editor, PDF export, version history, and multi-user collaboration within organizations.

Accounts and Organizations

You need a Google account to sign in to LeanFlow. Each user belongs to an organization. The person who creates an organization is its owner. Owners and admins can invite other users and assign roles (admin, editor, viewer) that control what each person can do within the organization.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@leanflowhq.com.

Your Content

You retain ownership of all documents you upload and all SOPs you create using LeanFlow. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display that content solely to provide the service to you and your organization. This license ends when you delete the content or close your account.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any documents you submit. Do not upload content that you do not have permission to use or that contains information you are not authorized to share.

AI-Generated Content

LeanFlow uses Google's Gemini AI to parse documents into structured SOPs and to generate illustrations. AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated output before relying on it, especially for procedures that affect safety, compliance, or regulatory requirements.

LeanFlow does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content for any particular purpose.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use LeanFlow to upload or process content that is unlawful, harmful, or violates the rights of others. You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data or to any part of our infrastructure. You agree not to use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the service. You agree not to resell or redistribute the service without our written permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Availability and Changes

We aim to keep LeanFlow available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control.

We may modify features, add new capabilities, or discontinue parts of the service. If we make changes that significantly reduce the functionality you rely on, we will give you reasonable notice.

Pricing

LeanFlow currently offers free access during its early-access period. We may introduce paid plans in the future. If we do, we will notify existing users in advance and provide clear information about what changes, if any, will affect their access.

Data and Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using LeanFlow, you agree to the practices described in that policy.

Intellectual Property

The LeanFlow name, logo, website design, and application code are owned by LeanFlow HQ. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of our service without written permission. This does not apply to your own content, which remains yours.

Limitation of Liability

LeanFlow is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LeanFlow HQ is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise) and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LeanFlow HQ from any claims, losses, or damages (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service will be resolved in the courts located in Travis County, Texas.

Termination

You can stop using LeanFlow at any time. You can request account deletion by emailing support@leanflowhq.com. We will delete your account and associated data within 30 days.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. If we terminate your account without cause, we will provide reasonable notice and an opportunity to export your data.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the website. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
